Indoor Karting 90Min Team Event - Brighton
 

I am currently in negotiation with Team-Sport to set up a team event.
They have just opened a Indoor Kart Track in Brighton and are the same company that run the venue in Crawley, for those that have been before.

I have managed to negotiate the costs down from £57 per person to £99+VAT per team on the proviso that this is a weekday evening event (normally kicking off at about 7:30pm).
This is for a 2 1/2 hour hire of the venue with team briefing/safety presentation, 15 mins per team practice and 90 minutes per team race.

The track in Brighton is approx 50% longer then the track used in Crawley for similar events.

Teams can be made up of 3 or 4 persons, total number of teams = 12.
The event is open to SES members, their friends, families or work collegue's in order to help boost numbers

Anyone wanting to take part please add below. If we don't get enough for 12 teams (highly likley) we will join other companies/clubs to make this a go-er.

Still in the planning stage but likley to be sometine in Feb 2012.
Just need to get interested numbers to pass back to the venue.

Sounds good we should be able to get a team of 4 together, Me, Sian, plus 2 others!

It's catch 22. I can't give a date until I have large enough numbers worthy of booking a session.

I'm getting booked up for Brighton next month with a few pals hopefully, Might see you there!

I did the 3 floor, Indoor one at Crawley the other week and it was mental! Although it was under staffed and the Racing was a waste of time, Pretty much every lap was a yellow or red flag and if you even nudge someone you get Black Flagged!

But for the money you can't really argue for a bit of fun!
