The Gobstopper

Keith e-mailed me to ask for some snaps from Saturdays trip to RCM.

I have been really busy and not had chance to go through them yet, but thought I would do one of the Gobstopper while I was doing the few bits for Keith.

I love this thing :tissue:

Several people paid & jumped in The Stopper at Bruntingthorpe but it was plain for me to see Olly was driving it well within it's limits which is understandable considering how long they were running the car that day.

There were many who wanted to jump in but the rides where limited to the £ 800 worth of race fuel that they had for the day.

I was extremely fortunate in jumping in for the final 3 laps of the day and the last lap was unlike any other lap Olly had done.

That car is fookin crazy through the bends !!

The first thing that hits you is the violence of how it can be driven and how amazingly strong the whole car is. Olly's driving skills also made the whole experience that more enjoyable.

Awesome lap and one I will always remember.

I would love to have a crack in the Gobstopper.

Next year mate, I will be parting with the sheckles for that ride :drive:
