Turbo 2000

I've just bought a 98 turbo 2000, I have the old ecu injectors and 225 fuel pump from my old year 2000 import, if I can get hold of a vf 29 turbo as I had on the old car can I fit these bits and they work with the ecu?
Cheers

If not what can I do to release a few more horses?
It has an api rebuilt engine, full de cat and bell mouth down pipe

Hi Greig,

Different ECU / wiring in the 97/98 model, and phase 1.5 fuel rails, so no...sorry....

Thanks Scott, do you know if the standard ecu can be re mapped?
Is it a bit of a waste of time/ money to improve the 2000?
Thanks

Can be remapped but the ecu has a habit of frying !

97/98 ECU cannot be remapped unless ESL have finally sorted their daughterboard for it.

I might just get a boost controller,
Is there much difference between an electronic or a Dawes divice?
