I've just fully forged my engine with oversized pistons uprated oil and water pumps plus while it was out fitted an exedy organic clutch and it has only cost me about £3000. You can find everything you need on ebay at a very reasonable price. there is a full stroker kit for £2500.

Built 2.5 with Heads - £3.5K
Built closed deck 2.0 short deck £2.5K

Both built by the same guy who built mine - I have developed a small valve stem leak after 5k miles but the engine is going back to be looked at.

Hi there mate ive got a engine at slowboyracing (2.1) for 2.5k but i need grearbox, clutch, brakes, esl board plus map frountmount etc etc so i thought cheaper option would be to sell up and buy another already been done

Hi Ian

seen this car few months back at Neil@Slowboy racing and really we are like this car, what i can say,you are not alone who don't have knowledge and room...

Good luck Ian with sale and as you are said i know how it is,we are been in same position few months back, when we are lost compression on one cylinder and on second we lost slightly, this time Neil suggest don't sell the car with problems or tell buyer, where is problem like you are done,in our case we are went with big upgrade which cost lot of time and money and if its worth, yes definitely(although will be for sale in few weeks/months :-( )

Decision is yours and wishing all best

P.S: Seen your Sierra and as i said before this car is just amazing

Have the build done if you can mate. use the box & other std parts you have while you can replace if & when. At least then you would have a car to use & has value. Good luck with what ever you do. :EVO:
