Might be a sensor on its way out then, know anyone close with a Fault Reader?
|
dont worry mate some times after a thrash the engine management light will come on, its the lamba sensor it will go off in a few hours. i assume engine never went inti limp mode?
|
Speedo still OK? The engine check light came on in my classic when the speedo converted packed up and the speedo stopped reading. Went into limp mode too.

Start it 3 times and on the 4th time of starting,
the light hopefully will go out unless something is wrong. Its as well to get it connected to a fault code reader though. |
light still hasn't gone out, will have to plug it in soon and see what the faults are

I have my mates code reader at the moment you are welcome to use it I am in west sussex bn15 area

If it's decatted and not mapped it could well be the CAT Efficiency Error code (P0420).
Especially if it keeps happening, especially on long motorway cruise type runs. |

You would of known about it if they re-flashed, as thay will of charged you for a remap and ECUTEK licence. |

I think the CAT Cell can take some time of sustained cruise style driving to raise it's head.
