Skullfudge 02-02-2012 12:48 PM

Very stable considering the weight & size !!

riiidaa 02-02-2012 01:12 PM

Awesome, and menacing

Awesome! i wonder what the future use for them will be. military?

Steve_PPP 02-02-2012 09:40 PM

thats some clever stuff, guess its just a shed load of programming behind each one.

not sure if they are aware of their position relative to each other, or whether they are manually placed in formation on the ground and then the programming guides them through the air from that starting point....

cool stuff though

Scott.T 02-02-2012 09:59 PM

Very scary.....a whole host of applications avaialble there.
I wouldn't want to be the one having to sign off the safety of flight paperwork when they start making them bigger and sticking weapons on them.

go on to youtube and watch the other 6 odd vids on them, awesome manouvers at all angles.

Very clever stuff just wait for the cameras and the spying to start.

They were a few years off with the date, but based on that we are getting closer to Judgement Day - 'The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th'

Gavsti555 03-02-2012 07:04 PM

:rofl::rofl::rofl:very funny.

Very clever stuff. As Steve says I assume each is just programmed (or guided remotely), rather than actually being "aware" of its surroundings.

The military have been using Unmanned aircraft for years, they are just getting smaller now.

I would like to see how stable these are outside a lab. ;)

If you look in the last clip i posted there seems to be a rail around the room on two levels with sensors on and red lights??

Does it use these to jot and plan each individual quadrotors position? :ugeek:
