Hi all,

just driven to gravesend and back to drop the GF off at work ! Snow is coming down pretty steady and has been for the last few hours.

Will be interesting on the pick up journey at 6.00am as the roads were pretty grim and mostly untreated !!!

Snow drifts  Bring on the sideways action lol

Gavsti555 05-02-2012 08:25 AM

Well mate you can crack that sledge out now

Scott.T 05-02-2012 08:42 AM

About 4-6 inches here with over 1ft drifts in places.

Gavsti555 05-02-2012 08:54 AM

Can't wait for the summer

SpecB 05-02-2012 09:21 AM

Nothing here just wet and miserable.

wonkey85 05-02-2012 09:39 AM

I experienced my first snow session in the scoob last night :)
But I was astounded by the amount of scoobs out. Didn't even know there was that many In the area.

Gavsti555 05-02-2012 09:43 AM

Their good fun in the snow

Anger 05-02-2012 09:48 AM

I had a little play in IKEA's car park last night in the legacy :)

Lucky 05-02-2012 10:08 AM

We seem to be mid way. Got a good coating of snow but doesnt seem to be enough to stop anything.

Crowman 05-02-2012 11:33 AM

Crow borough had 6 inches or so . Ground to a halt as always

2-jaffacake-tone 05-02-2012 11:38 AM

Anyone know what the m25 is like?? Need to get to gatwick!!!

Crowman 05-02-2012 11:47 AM

Tone, leave at least treble the time mate. Crawley not good.

Steve_PPP 05-02-2012 12:01 PM

Sounds like we got off lightly then, not even 2" in Burgess Hill.

Looked on the CCTV cameras at work (Chelwood Gate) and it looks like about 6" up there too, with deeper bits in drifts.

herbert 05-02-2012 02:30 PM

6 inch of snow in Canterbury been playing in my disco this morning drove in to a 2ft snow drift to find a post in the middle of it lucky I've got a bullbar on the front so no damage

Scott.T 05-02-2012 02:44 PM

Just come in from building a 6ft tall igloo big enough for the 2 boys to crawl Inside. Just waiting for the local youth to come and kick it in.

same story in the bourne..been up to rescue the grandparents from there gaff as they live on the downs... seen so many people trying to tow each other up serious inclines in there front wheel drive cars....and clearly not going anywhere:roll:???? and the point of this exercise??

just amazes me how many people dont have an ounce of the common when it comes to things like "one day of snow"... quick lets panic buy bread and milk..incase the ice age grabs hold....

me being the good samaritan that i am just drove on by in the old mans 4x4:doubleup: "thinking to myself that,ll teach you for being a plum!!!"

would have stopped if it was elderly people or an emergency dont get me wrong!!!

sorry rant over:rofl:off to build a snow man:cuckoo:

wonkey85 05-02-2012 08:14 PM

Just got back from a day with the wife and kids. Built a 10ft snowman and got a pic off me sitting on its head. Sledding over bluewater ( insane hills being as it was a quarry) and left the blue water staff a nice little prezzie ( an 80ft c&Łk and ba@@s).
Don't judge me I need to let the inner child out now and again. Hahaha
