I want cold air on my filter!!!

At the moment im running an hks mushroom filter (that needs a clean lol). I really want a cold air feed onto it really as i have a feeling its sucking up a lot of hot stuff from the engine bay. Been looking round and i think the 2 options are a feed from the fog light or a mini bonnet scoop. I dont fancy the idea of losing a fog light, not sure i like the look.

So would a mini bonnet scoop work well? Dont want to ruin the asthetics of the car much, been considering changing the vents to something else anyway but not sure what.

Dave

Oh and if anyone has any pictures of their solutions would be good to see.

I think that the fog light route is the most efficient by far.

Check out CJ & Dukeboys cars for images, they look cool! 8-)

Sounds like a good idea. Is there a need to feed air in to the wing somehow if you do this?

Cheers,
