Did he say he was going to sell it on!?

RobEvo5 11-02-2012 04:42 PM

Unless he's got it for a song from you, if he bought to make a profit he ain't going to make much.

Buy it now is at 2.5k with best offer, and no doubt will be flooded with numpties offering 1K and a pcket of crisps, and loads of appointments who don't show.... If he's bought to make a profit, allowing for his time, travel, expenses and above he must need his head tested. !

nope, quite the opposite really, not that i care but i dont like people like that, why not just be honest? and i very much doubt hes fixed the faults with the car too, also the milage ist accurate as the original clocks were replaced, and the ones they were replaced with broke, they show 35,000 miles but thats not the correct mileage.

Tomma 11-02-2012 04:50 PM

i know how you feel and i'd be fuming, I had a celica T-sport before my impreza which i advertised on a forum and said i'd break. someone on there brought complete off me and said he was going to keep it, less than 8 hours later it was on the forum being broken!! He must of got over double back what he paid for it!! Who's the mug..... oh yes that'll be me!

AndyWRX 11-02-2012 05:23 PM

it is a good car but it does have some faults with it that he hasnt mentioned and isnt being honest with the mileage either.

There is your reason for him selling it then, low mileage to try & make a fast buck:nono:

Anger 11-02-2012 09:27 PM

What a Cnut.....

Crowman 11-02-2012 10:39 PM

Really pleased you sold it mate, but what a cooking coc k he is, as Rob said he ain't going to get rich.
He will be lucky to make a score after his expenses.

Gavsti555 11-02-2012 11:24 PM

He's just another greedy dikc

Emma 12-02-2012 04:52 PM

And I hope whoever buys it from him comes back at him and makes his life a misery for not being honest re faults etc, could end up biting him in the bum lol ..... I do hope so :-)

Bolesroor 12-02-2012 07:52 PM

Perhaps a couple of leading questions on Fleabay might stuff the :wa:ickhead?

e.g. Saw this recently for sale with higher recorded mileage? Explain!

wilbo 12-02-2012 08:12 PM

If you know the mileage is incorrect, can you not report it to ebay?

AndyWRX 12-02-2012 08:29 PM

Im not sure exactally where things would stand on that, the odometer says 35,000 miles but its broken so he could plead ignorance i guess? also i doubt hes fixed the faults either but i dont have any proof on anything apart from the previous piston heads advert :-(

majorscooby 12-02-2012 09:30 PM

What a fist!!! Wouldnt want anything to come back to you in the way of grief but would love to give him a hard time on Ebay and feck it up for him as mentioned above. :wa:

Nige 12-02-2012 09:41 PM

You can complain to EBay just to say the speedo is broken! Therefore you know the mileage advertised is incorrect . As far as you are concerned you sold it as seen to a privet buyer. It's turned out he is obviously trade. This then takes away any form of comeback on you. :EVO:
It's then logged with EBay.

majorscooby 13-02-2012 07:06 AM

Whats the title or number for it on ebay as i cant find it ?

Just going to be nosey. :?

If the guy bought it from you and has taken a punt on it to see if he can make something, fair enough, but to advertise it as something he knows it is not (i.e 35000 miles) in my book isnt on.

Agreed. He's stated in the advert:

"ALL DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE INCLUDING ALL BILLS/RECEIPTS"

Surely this will show the true mileage to any potential buyers anyway, so he's just giving people an excuse to walk away as its not as advertised....

chrisp 14-02-2012 06:12 PM

Also v5 present which it won't be yet

Timwinner 14-02-2012 06:21 PM

Looking at his feedback and what he has sold in the past I would bet this is not the first time he has done this.
