Decat downpipe advice

Hi all,

i may need to replace my standard cat downpipe as part of a 3 step solution to my turbo not boosting very well(this being the cheaper part of the 3 replacement options i've been advised on doing to remedy the issue), so the question is:

If i replace it with a de-cat downpipe will the i need to get the car re-mapped?

Many thanks in advance

Greg (03 WRX Blobeye)
