Gearbox / Diff oil

I purchased a load of fluid back end of last year as advised by a well known Oil Supply retailer.

I later found out the product I purchased (Fuchs Syn 5) is too slippery for the 6 speed. I forgot/couldn't be arsed to find out more until recently.

I called them and asked them the question about the slippery content they reccomended and they have now advised..........."Good for the diff but not good for the 6 speed gearbox. Your need another brand for that" .

Nice.

So, can anyone reccomend me a a good fluid for both diff and gearbox as I want to do this ASAP as well as change the brake fluid.

Millers or Motul? I am sure I have castrol in there at present but find from cold it's a little notchy & old.

personally use Millers CRX75w90NT or Motul gear300............

and generally at better pricing than a "well known Oil Supply retailer" ;-)
