Just got promoted...

went for interview yesterday and just got the call to say ive been successful and am now promoted to Duty Manager, only sad news is it isnt at the same leisure centre im at now (K2) BUT the even better news is its at a centre run by the same company 5 minutes drive on a good day

So now have alot more responsibilities which ive been craving for ages as been getting pretty bored in current position, plus much more money and very very close to home so very low travel cost (may even cycle in if i can find a cheap bike)

To me though its not just a new job, it means i can give soph that little bit better life than we have now, can prob move out into our own flat and that means a whole new way of life :yeah:

Happy days! :chug:

Nice one mate, its got to be better than K2, i do Karate there and i did go to the gym there, but it was full of chavs so i left and joined Virgin Active.

2pac 29-04-2009 09:22 AM

Re: Just got promoted...

I get free use of k2 gym but i still joined virgin active  like you say it is full of chavs or foreigners, im now fluent in 5 different languages haha.

You probably wouldnt be suprised that most of the members at k2 are either on benefits or get some other discount for low earnings

So as you may be able to tell im looking forward to only being there to help out from time to time. :yeah:

Rich, it would be better for us to go up the M26 / M20 to be honest mate. Straight down to Ashford.

Remember, we are going to get Grieg from East Grinstead.

Re: Nurbergring - Meeting times

Right guys its 225 miles from the centre of Dunkirk to destination.
Not to bad at all.

I suggest we make a stop for bite to eat etc around half way, which is roughly Brussel's.
I have set up journey route in good old Tom Tom

Not sure if any part of the A3/E40 is unrestricted speed limit yet, still investigating
