Trip to JRM today

Took the P1 to JRM today for a geo set up and to discuss the repaint.
To say there was a little interest would be an understatement:doubleup:

Who should drop in

Great to see you Nige and to have a natter, car looking and sounding fookin lovely.

The Geo settings i wanted were fast road and the same as ive had on the WRX classic , which JRM did a great job on last time.

Here is the before, which is not very good at all, Way to much negative camber on the rear for raod use, and the fronts are allover the place.

The after print out - Spot on for what i wanted

The car is going in once back from germany for a full strip down and respray, Their paint guy, sorry , im useless with names, top guy, talked me through everything he will do with the car.

Thanks all at JRM.

No worries. I was trawling the site to try and find opening times and if they open on Saturdays. Saw the pics and knew I'd seen the car somewhere before.

On that note, does anyone know if they open on Sat?

Didz the pics do make it look mint, The paint chap said its extremely straight, which is great.
The truth is, its a little tired and has a number of areas starting to show rust signs.

The Geo was £65 per hour it was worked on for just under two hours.
Money extremely well spent

Have they changed the guys that were doing it this time last year, as I went it for a geo setup spent 2 hours down there and they Couldn't figure out why my p/s wasn't returning. They said they couldn't continue with the setup and that my power steering rack was fooked, I went home annoyed as the car drove lovey on the way there but like a dog on the way home. Only to have a mate who's into drifting say that when I took the car apart I probably just changed the castor angle and to move it forward. 10minutes later the next day it was fixed. I'd have thought a company as large as Sumo would have figured that and sorted it rather than charge me 80quid to tell me my p/s rack was knackered.

However a few friends had their fwd cars setup and they drive lovely, glad it went well mate car looks great
