Started a new thread on this to hopefully get some answers. I had my decat done today hayward and scott up and down pipes and map tweak. What I would like to know is any of you out there with decats have any probs with smelly exhaust as mine seems to be quite strong as opposed to when it was catted. Bit worried that the wrong peeps may smell it

Hope you are enjoying the performance advantage!. Yes, they do smell more, and you will notice its a bit more smokey when you put your foot down.

It will smell untill its got nice and hot and burnt off any polish oil exhaust cement etc

+1 I always think the noise get better when you get a layer of soot inside the pipe too

This is definately exhaust smell i'm going to try 99ron fuel as opposed to 97 as this is suppoesed to be cleaner. Yes I have to say the power at the bottom end is great I only have a td04 at present but the decat is making full use of the fast spool 1.4 bar at 2700rpm. I plan to get a VF34 as soon as funds allow
