Engine nearly back to normal now
Yeah, yeah ....... I know you guys say "but it always looks clean", well that's not true:D.
It sat for many months at RCM and became stale. Eight cleans later and a fierce one last night it's nearly back to what it was.................... thank gawd. Easier to keep clean when it's like this. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3...PIC_3573-1.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3...e/PIC_3579.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3...e/PIC_3581.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3...e/PIC_3578.jpg |
Nice one mate, as you say it will be easier to keep clean now
How's the bodywork holding up, does it still shine, is the depth still there mate |
Now that's clean!
Out of interest, how do you clean the alternator? I clean mine and a couple of months later its just as oxidised and looks exactly the same as before I started |
Looks very nice :10:
What happened to the corner of the ID plate next to the off side suspension turret. (think its called that). I wonder who broke it . |
Very nice mate :EVO:

|
Thanks chaps :)
BigE .. LOL .. :) I love making people happy. Come and see me at the next meet and we can do the other corner :) |
i was thinking to wire wool my alternator, and then lacquer it to stop it oxygdising, would that work? Would it risk catching fire (high temp)?? Was going to give the timing belt shield the same treatment
|
if carlsberg did engines this is what it would look like !!! top job clive
|
That looks the part Clive.
What you use on the FMIC pipe work? Steve |
Suddenly I feel very inadequate... I like having a clean car, but this takes it to a whole new level
|
Looking the biz Mr Fudge! :worthy:
|
Gimp: ..... for the IC pipe work I use Mq's metal polish.
After I use that I have a good trick to make it really shiny :) Give me a wonna and I'll tell you  The stupid thing is I never polish that pipe before I took the pics lol Check out pic 1 and you can see my smeary hand prints all over it |
Nice one Clive!!
|
