Maybe he saw the Severn Valley Gtr doing 218mph and thought he could beat it!

Lazadude 23-03-2012 06:51 AM

Fail, maybe he should stick to driving his C4...

Glad he's ok. Shame about the fast Datsun though. Thats not good to see. My adrenilin levels are up & about just thinking of the Ring. OCD i am on brakes so there comming off again just to have a luck. :EVO:

Glad to see Liam has matched his 2011 record of destroying a car before the end of March...

...hope he fares better debuting his DS3 this weekend (and with the RS200 at Pikes Peak this year).

Despite his record as a destroyer of cars, I've seen a few comments now indicating that the Pistonheads article may be a little biased in its delivery of the story. Was waiting for the official word from the Doran camp, but it doesn't seem to have come.

A testament to the build of the GT-R though. Lucky his 2012 season wasn't over before it started.

NB: Incidentally, the crash happened on the GP circuit, not "the" Ring.

Didn't know he was doing Pikes Peak this year, now there's a place you don't want to have a big shunt!

Yeah, he's "borrowed" Pats ex-Dietter Knuttel RS200 (the RS200 that was being demoed at Lydden last August)...
