Size of exhaust manifold studs
 
Guys i am looking to buy a Tap and Die set to try and re thread one of the holes for the exhaust mani..

What size are they and are they in imperial or metric?? I dont want to buy a set that does not have the correct size..

This was the kit i was looking at...

they are metric i believe. give them a call at import car parts. I got a set of manifold studs from them a while back so they should be able to tell you what size they are

Cheers guys that is the correct size, i have ordered a Tap in that size today, fingers crossed i will be able to repair it.. :doh:

just take it real easy and slow. wind it in an 8th of a turn at a time and then back out, then an 8th more and back out again. if you feel any more resistance than usualy, wind it right out n spray with WD40 to clean out any crap. once you have done 2 complete revolutions, wind it completely out anyways and s[ray with WD40 to dislodge any crap.
