Hi all from Eastbourne
 

Just thought I better post my first thread and say hi to all.
Bought myself an 02 WRX Bugeye after having previously owned a 1999 AWD classic some years ago, so a bit of a return to the fold.
A little bit of my car history since owning the classic has been 2x Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6, Alfa GTV, Z3 1.9, Z3 2.8, Vauxhall VX220, Porsche Boxster 3.2S, Renault Megane 225 Cup and now back to the Scooby.
The Scooby seems to be a straight low mile 41k car and came with the huge exhaust and loud DV, both of which are now on Flea bay lol these have been replaced with a standard DV and a Prodrive back box.
The last Dyno printout show the car was running at 280bhp but will get it on the rollers asap to find out where it is now.
It does seem to have a slight hesitation just before boost and after reading a few threads here im guessing its due to a leak between the turbo and down pipe, as the car smells fumey when standing still and if you stick your head down under the bonnet in that area you can smell it strongly. Will update on that issue though once it's been investigated.

Nice to meet you on Saturday Munk and thats a lovely Scooby you have there. Mine now has the prodrive fitted and it sounds nice without being to loud. Thanks for the tip off about this site.

It looks black but in the sunlight it looks black/blue. in the black paint there is blue metallic.
