Kevin Procter wins French Round of European Rallycross
OK, so I'm biased as there is rallycross content, but I still thought this was a pretty cool bit of sporting news.
As the title says Brit Kevin Procter won the French Round of the European Rallycross Championship this weekend. Its not the first time a driver from the UK has won a round in the ERC, but the way he did it was pretty special. Having got some not so great times in the heats, he had to start in the "C" Final. He won that which put him on the back of the "B" Final, he then came second in the "B" which put him on the back of the "A" Final. He then won the "A", taking the overall win for the weekend!
Someone coming up through the "C" and "B" Finals then winning the "A" has only ever been done twice before in the ERC, the last time being in the early 90's!
Here's his drive in the "A" Final:

And the same race from some other angles (savour the noise of fluttering turbos!):

Fast, very tidy driving and a well deserved win. Congrats Kevin!
