Probably not your typical new member as I am not an owner (not even a driver!) but I am looking forward to seeing some interesting car photography and should you ever meet at somewhere I can get to I would love to get the chance to see some of the cars and practice my car photography.

I have no technical car knowledge and don't pretend to but I do look forward to learning new things and new challenges.

To answer your questions, yes I have lots of photos, the ones I like best I put on a website www.helencripps.co.uk (original I know but it works!). It doesn't get many views, mainly my camera club but it makes me think about what I have done and I am my own worst critic :-) Have others to sort out and put on but it is a work in progress. Once I find my feet here I will put some up in the general section.

As for self portraits I tend to take the photos not be in them, there is method in my madness. The only way to get a photo of me (a presentable one one with no rude gesture :-) is take it when I don't know you are! I may try to find a decent one to use on my profile once I get that far.

I do hope to get a meet if you have one anywhere near me but that depends on me making friends here and the kindness of strangers, as well as work :-( It won't stop me looking at what others do though.
