oil...
Hi,
I remember a thread about a halfords oil that was apparenl "mobil"y re packaged as halfords??? And was a good oil to use in our scoobies.... So could anyone help me with is I'm having the oil seal for gearbox changed(, due to major leak), next week ans want to put good oil in, I normally use Miller's oil, Excuse the poor spelling ans Gartner, using phone and it carp to post with... Sorry. :-) x |
personally would stick with Millers competition range............
|
Personally have, and would, use the above to get it too... :-)
|
I know, but I can't order it in time so need a good oil to put in for now, then when service it I'll do Miller's oil.x
|
Castrol Syntrax Driveline then would be my next choice if Millers or Motul comp oils weren't available............

AS Performance delivery service is very very good, if you order goods they are normally with you the next day or the next, even though they are based up north.. |

only because you called about an hour too late to catch the courier..............8-)
generally speaking if you call before 2.30ish then we will package to leave that evening on a "next day" delivery........... |
Thank you guys,I'll order online tonight from the place suggested but also just a quick question... My car done 142000.what Miller's be best? 10/40 fully synthetic is what I put in before, but not sure if it thick enough for the age of this engine x
|
It's only a turbo 2000 and boosts not been wound.up yet, so straight through decat, in filter irridium 7 sparks... That's all guys as want engine solid before mess around like my old scooby xx
|
Just went on AS performance and clicked on oil.. only to get..... "coming soon" written lol.... What are the prices as it looks like I'll be calling to place order xx
