I've got a Clifford and have had a similar problem recently with my bonnet opening switch being damp and sticky from all the recent rain and road salt!

Mine would beep when being locked (usually silent ) and not set properly due to the system not seeing a full circuit, I just took out the bonnet trigger switch and smothered it in WD40 then a light rub in grease once put back on the car. I could be something as silly as that.

Sigma alarm beeping after locking means theres a door/boot/bonnet still open somewhere, Double check all the doors etc spray wd40 on em, usual sign of this is also interior light stays on,

Does the alarm have the mini keypad on the windscreen, if so you can disable certain swithched and find out which one it is,

Mine occasionally does this after heavy raind/washing when the doors have been open for a while

sussed it..... i managed to get my hand into the dash board and found a switch... the switch shouldnt have been there in the first place. the previos owner must have put it in for some unknown reason. but my alarm is now back to how it was WORKING

thankyou to everyone that helped. thanks for the suggestions. much appreciated.
