I do use it ;) gets driven every week at least once or twice, it had done an awful lot of miles without a proper clean due to the crap weather, Other than a blast off at the local shell station pressure wash (NO BRUSH OR SUCH CARNAGE!) I reckon that's about 1k miles worth of crap on it :( including a fair bit of winter salt hiding in places underneath etc :-(

bonner 16-02-2013 06:36 PM

lookin nice that! the salts a killer! just buffed mine up again being black its an everyday job lol when the bar has been used and looking like that do you keep it for next time or ditch it?

Steve_PPP 16-02-2013 06:49 PM

Blimey, thats filthy, only ever seen your car spotless!

Hongkongfooi 16-02-2013 06:51 PM

I fold the bars in on themselves and re use a couple of times until it starts to not look white and clean any more on the newly folded surface, once there like that there reserved for wheels etc, (old bars rims/new bar body).

;) the single track lane that runs over the top of the hill to Worthing is great fun! but its often 1" thick with mud.. which although makes for good fun sliding around and what not, it also makes for a very muddy scoob :(

bonner 16-02-2013 07:51 PM

good stuff cheers buddy!!

That clay is shocking. Did you use anything after the foam i.e fresh water and sponge or go straight to the clay bar.

Nige 16-02-2013 10:30 PM

OMG!

No, it had a 2 bucket wash with meguires ntx /lambs skin mitt etc, the back was just plastered in tiny tar spots :s, I even removed the worst with a microfibre cloth and wd40! Using quick detailer in between to clean up (It was really bad!) will clay the rest and get polishing tomorrow ;)

Ginola 17-02-2013 03:10 PM

added 1 more snap from today ;o

If someone said to me what is my perfect idea of a scoob to buy next, that is it. Love the way the wheels work with the colour and the way it sits. Nice one :ok:
