Chugging Scooby needs help

Hey peeps I started up my scooby yesterday only find it chugging. I tho it might just be the battery as I dont use it every day and it sits around alot. I let it warm up then took it out but every time I tryed to gas it just chugged even more and the power just wasnt there. I would be greatful for any ideas or input on this as I am gutted my babys sick :(

Might pay to either check for a split pipe around the intercooler or check coil packs? worth a go!! my classic used to do this alot in wet weather and found water was gettin through the vents/scoop and running down coil packs! may not solve your problem but worth a try!!

I would say coil packs or old sparkplugs

Its a facelift. So single coil pack, which are pretty reliable unlike the old seperate coil packs.

I'd be looking thinking along the lines of a spark plug down, HT lead, or maybe BCS (Boost control solenoid), or split pipe as above.

Thanks for the advice but I tryed it again today and it started up perfect?!.. its gone?!.. give it a little run and now nothing?.. maybe it was just the battery that needed charging, well im hoping anyway!
