Boost gauge connection advice needed
 
Hi all I ordered a boost gauge today and with Rich's aka majorscooby's help ( a top bloke & expert in my opinion :doubleup:) am looking to fit it once it arrives the only question I have is this my Scoob is a 52 plate wrx impreza where about's in the engine bay is the best place to tee in to for the boost gauge hose connection???

I used a t piece from the purge valve which is on the 90 degree bend outlet on the front of the manifold left side as you face the car.

What about breaking into the ignition switch live nick. What's the easiest and best way of doing that.

I came off the back of the clock so I had both ign live and illumination switch. You can also pick these up easily from the stereo loom, especially if you have an aftermarket unit with the adapter harness as they're labelled and you don't need to cut into the cars harness!

Ah yes forgot about the stereo switch live etc, cheers for that. It's been a long time since Ive messed about with any car electrics.

Do you think we will be able to install the boost gauge Rich & do you think it will be an easy install?

Worst part is getting the hose/wires from behind the dash as its bloody uncomfortable scrabbling around the footwells!
