Autosmart Tardis
Stoner Tarminator
WD40
White Spirit
Claybar

any one of those should lift it:nod:

Baby wipes? They seemed to remove some very hefty tar like stains recently! Not from my backside either!

I've got some autoglym tar remover and white spirit I'll bring tomorrow mate

I'm not going to try and compete with Pieman's knowledge here, but I found the Autoglym tar removal product very effective.

Brillo pads will do it.

Tardis is probably the best but the autoglym should do it!

Skullfudge 21-07-2013 09:01 AM

Rag and petrol will sort it/

Thanks all for help

Slight helping of auto tardis. Then switch the pad over to wipe followed by a heavy rinse of water.

Iron X is also good.

WD40
Effortless and works
Cannot damage paintwork

RobEvo5 02-08-2013 07:52 PM

Paint thinners.! Seriously... But only on established paint, and go easy with the elbow grease.

I go with autoglym tar remover, and find a claybar is also very effective at lifting the tar off..
