Opinions on this please guys

I'm after some honest opinions on this car as I'm in 2 minds about making him an offer on it.

Positive and negative

simba 16-08-2013 06:48 PM

I like a lot offer 3.5k

bonner 16-08-2013 06:53 PM

Very nice that!! been some good classics on there the last 2 weeks including a mint rb5 gota be worth the asking price but always worth a haggle!!

Matt23 16-08-2013 07:15 PM

The only thing I'm worried about is the colour, don't see many green 1s.

bonner 16-08-2013 07:17 PM

Plenty of green classics about you will notice if you buy it!

CRAIGR 16-08-2013 07:18 PM

Would have said that is top of the tree money for what it is nice car or not and its value will only go one way.. My opinion of course.

riiidaa 16-08-2013 07:41 PM

It's green........

Hongkongfooi 16-08-2013 07:45 PM

Very clean and worth the money if its as good as it looks

Steve_PPP 16-08-2013 07:52 PM

I'd buy that. The green isn't bad, but finding a low mileage classic in that kind of condition is hard work these days.

Lucky 16-08-2013 07:58 PM

As already said, hard to find in that condition these days, looks really well look ed after. Personally, the colour doesnt do it for me, could always repaint it!.

thepieman 16-08-2013 08:17 PM

Looks good and if its all as it appears on viewing then price is do-able IMO

I know green isn't to everyones taste but they do look really good when polished right up:polish: and not being on the top of peoples favorite colour list also makes them a little rarer.

As it appears and if you like the colour, then worth a closer look imo...good luck with the search:ok:

PS: sorry for not stopping to say hello on Sunday, didn't want to get in the way of your viewing:five:

Anger 16-08-2013 08:29 PM

Does nothing for me... Not a fan of green classics

No problem mate, it wouldn't of bothered me if you stuck around for a chat :ok:

I really liked that car.

SamSTI 16-08-2013 11:05 PM

Very nice that. Definitely worth the money.

Your is a very valid point mate, it's very strong money for a classic.

Anger 17-08-2013 12:39 AM

If your going to get a classic, get a limited edition, RA, Type R, RB5 or P1

I was going to get a P1 James, but a change in my circumstances has now made that impossible, so I just wanted to get a good clean classic to last a year or 2 until I can afford to try again.

Banstead Stig 17-08-2013 08:16 AM

I quite like it Matt, but does look a bit toppy on price.

Shame it isn't going to work out with a P1 at the minute.

bigemp 17-08-2013 09:37 AM

You could always pay for mine in instalments matt

You already know my opinions on the green one, but if you did like waynes one try a good old haggle with him.

Good luck though if you do go and look at the green one.

Lucky 17-08-2013 09:41 AM

Did wayne ever sell his?

Rons m8 has decided to keep his alfa instead and not buy a scooby and the other guy is trying to get the money together as he wants to keep his civic type r as well, so she is still there matt and not green lol

Matt23 17-08-2013 11:26 AM

Well is a better looking car than the green 1 that's for sure.

Yes, but I'm trying to think with my head and not my heart. It would need any money sending on it.

I know what you mean matt and if you 100% ok with the colour as a compromise for having something that dont need any money spent on it,thats cool.

But remember back to when you used to look outside at the widetrack in the morning when you woke up,to then picturing that classic outside in green would it put that smile on your face again.

Plus any car that seems dont need any money spent on it always normally ends up needing dosh spent on it.
