Also in Todays News.. Charge temp gauge?
Bit of a mix match, a kit bought from a fella on scabynet, PC temp display with a resistor and a solid metal probe :o add some extra cable, a bit of soldering and hey presto..
Refresh is about 1.5 sec, not as fast as you would like, but then it didn't cost much ;) Fitted this afternoon,.. not sure if I should start the engine or not and suck a big lump of metal through it! The hole that the probe sits in is about half the diameter of the probe, so it was a dam tight squeeze so I doubt if anything was even needed to seal...worried about boost leak of course! I bonded the probe to the pipe with sugru but thinking perhaps I should have used some 10min epoxy? http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1b10b4f2.jpg http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3b31a1eb.jpg http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/...pseff7c2b6.jpg |
