Kinghams in Croydon.
 

Was over in Croydon today,Liz was buying a road bike from G Butler Cycles :doubleup: Didn`t know about Kinghams till we walked past from the carpark. This WR1 caught my eye in the showroom.

A very nice salesman pounced,"Car has only done 122k miles" :shock: and I lost interest ("although its on a new engine having done only 2K").

They also had an R8 at 50K which Liz loves and we passed on that aswell,phew. :grin:

Looks like this might have to be my local dealer now as I think Walldonway in West Malling having closed down, with the said salesman thinking the same ?:cry:

Prices on parts and service can be well OTT

Would only use for cosmetic parts if needed (i.e.Walldonway recently sourced some speedline centre caps for me) as use specialist for servicing etc.

Kinghams is very local to me, but the price they quoted for a service was almost double what I paid at Gatwick (for the same service).

I wouldn't go anywhere near them. They fcuked the 4 wheel alignment up on my dads Rb320 a couple of years ago and they are very over priced on everything from parts to servicing. Ie when I called about a price for a cambelt service they wanted £300 more than gatwick, so you can guess where my car went. I've also never seen a Subaru main dealer try and sell a car with 122k on the clock.

It's a shame really as they would be my local dealer as well.
