Another jap chipped ecu, There all pretty much the same as boost level aggressive timing and jap fuel. get the polar in and job done lol.

Cat off will help allot with spool and release a few more ponies... Allot of development and testing went into the polar chip. Just make sure everything else is in good order i.e coil packs , boost leaks etc. the increase in performance can quickly throw up areas that were otherwise weak. Which can often be misstaken for the map/ecu. Jap chips tend to raise boost and make little or no difference to ignition or fueling.

have to say the car feels really nice... even with the cat...however from past modding...i know that front pipe is strangleing the car...

The Fujitsu chip is the maker of the EPROM device not the map, in the same way Intel make the processor for your PC.
The Subaru JECS ECU was designed to have the spare slot for Group'N' rally regulations. These were, the car had to run the standard manufacturers ECU.
It didn't say anything about being able to run a different map, which Subaru overcame by fitting the Fujitsu 27C1024 EPROM device in a spare location on the eCU motherboard.

The Polar chip is a Fujitsu 27C1024 blank device which is then programmed with my map.

Interested to here how it compares to the other 2 ;)

well when i bought it i did think it felt quite nippy for standard boost.. however now i am running 1 of your polar maps..and the car feels smoother normal driving...and on boost hits like id expect 1.1bar to..holds longer aswel.. so i guess to sum up its stronger through the hole rev range..im very happy with it.

maybe the fujitsu chip would of been better if i had other mods..but your map has been a solid improvement as is..it was worth every penny.:ok:
