Intercooler fit question

Hiya, I was wondering if an intercooler from a 2001 wrx would fit a classic impreza?
I'm selling a Sanden SIC - TM 0020 intercooler and someone's asked on eBay and I wanted to be certain so I don't give the wrong answer!

Yes but it requires custom brackets, easy enough to fit guides.

Oh yea sorry that would have been helpful! Haha, its a 1998 AWD 2000, has the ej20 engine?
He's actually fairly local and new to Subaru's so I'll point him to here as he said it's his first subaru so it's all new :)

For the MY97/98 you would have to cut the Dumpvalve elbow off the old intercooler then cut/weld it onto the Newage intercooler, into the same location.
You have to perform this modification as the bolt-on dumpvalve of the Newage will fowl your idle speed control valve.
