Sti8 intercooler, with old tray on

Just a quick one, I am worried about cooling of the intercooler, as I have a classic with sti8 intercooler on, and waiting for a tray to be made up. As its a daily driver, need it safe.

Question is, what percentage will it be cooling and is it safer to run with old tray on then with out? Thanks

Don't worry about it... it will actually be slightly better then the original intercooler due to it being thicker even with the standard splitter/undertray.

no problem...
mapping it like that will actually make it slightly safer when you put a better undertray on.

Cheers for that Scott.
Now need to go put bak on my OE headers, and go for it.
