Lense cleaning
 
Has anyone had reason to clean their lenses?
The new blob headlamps i have have some misting on outside
Its not to bad but i am going to have to do it

Yeah I had to do mine when I first got the bugeye, have you got a rotary polisher? If so do it yourself mate, pretty easy, I used a fine cutting compound. Just be carefull not to keep the rotary in the same place allways keep it moving, if you don't have one I'm sure there will be someone close by that would help you out mate

Yeah toothpaste does work aswell to a certain extent. I did try it once but there was still some misting and didn't look as good as the other one I done with the rotary, I did have a picture of the 2 as I was intrigued when I heard toothpaste worked and both lights on a mates old banger were misty so done one with each. Sad I know lol

I just use autoglym super resin, I could do with some uv protection after though.

Cheers guys,my son works for toyota and has a work mate that is doing thm for a drink!
I did use toothpaste once on my sons trueno side lights and it did improve them
