what part is the down pipe and what's the sensor called that usually plugs in to the pipe? |
All of it is the down pipe, but I guess to be really specific you could say the left hand part.
The sensor is a lambda sensor for telling the ecu the air/fuel ratio. Or if 2 sensors then front I'd air/fuel ratio and after cat 2nd one is for diagnostics to see if cats are working ok. Not sure if subarus have the 2nd one though. |
thanks for confirming, mine's a 2001 saloon jdm wrx
On classics, that's normally just one pipe, Newages, that's the first and and second cat, except that's a sports cat, and a de-cated second pipe.
Prodrive sports cat and should have a secondary Lambda in the link pipe plugged hole.........
ok, great thanks mate
And if that's going on a Classic ?. Then you will need a newage centre section to go with it or it won't fit on a classic.
going on a newage
straight fit then as long as its not a JDM STi or a twin scroll car........
