getting bored already..

My evo was a mad thing that I never wanted to sell but hard times gave me no choice the short term replacement was a Honda accord type R and 3yrs of "it wil do".... I longed for 4wd and a turbo and thought id be happy to have anything with boost!!!

well I want more lol....I need 300+

spec

prova ecu
walbro
blitz delete pipe
large KnN cone
full decat 3inch turbo back
uppipe

im thinking...440cc/fpr/upgrade tmic/greddy profec b boost controller..

scooby doo 06-02-2014 09:21 AM

esl, 440s, fpr, fmic, 1.5bar should see 340/350

yes slanty black thing lol..iv found a V2 sti tmic...but if im going to go remap then I suppose fmic will be the way forward....just don't like idea of cutting the car about..

i don't like FMIC personally either (no plans to run the green hell), worth finding out what the STi one is rated too bhp wise, also maybe Hyperflow do one, worth checking.

jonnyricer5 06-02-2014 11:23 PM

Fmic might make it bit to laggy I.did nt like the fmic on my v2.

FPR is not a must, i ran a vf28 with 440cc injectors decat, fmic, standard exhaust mani, and a cheap air filter and a simtek because there was nothing you could do with my ECU as mine is a 98, at 333bhp.

Then moved onto 550cc with a walbro 255 and a td05 18g at 351bhp.

Then got bored and moved on from that

what boost was you running at these figures?? and was you still on standard internals

Jolly Green Monster 11-02-2014 01:42 PM

the standard headgasket is fine to 1.3bar 1.4bar at a pinch.

it will make more power on the fmic and when mapped you will notice the extra power but not the extra lag.. its there but only slightly.

Jolly Green Monster 11-02-2014 01:43 PM

I would avoid a cheap FPR and use original or the proper £200 real deal.
