Vavles that go woosh in the night

Hi

Previous owner installed an Bailey dump to atmos valve and its leaking.

I have a UK MY00 in standard guise but will be looking to decat, induction, fuel pump and map some time before the year is out.

Given the amount of experience on here, what has proven to be a reliable valve and should I go back to recirc, or is that just a matter of taste?

A Forge valve has been recommened to me thus far.

Cheers

Dean

Can you not rebuild the Baileys???? I also have MY00 with a baileys on it running 1.2bar with no problems.

That was a good question.

So I rang them up and they said as long as I have a valve with allen key bolt heads then its rebuildable.

I best check then when better half gets back with the car.

Thanks

I should have also mentioned that you can't get a rebuild kit from a retailer, Bailey themselves have to rebuild it.

So you end up without a car for a while. :( not ideal if its your only vehicle that you have to use every day.

At least you get another 12 months warranty once completed.

nothing wrong with the standard re-circ.
vta does nothing but generate noise and suck in a small amount of un-regulated air at light throttle.
