Boost gauges

Can any one tell me the best gauges to use on my 54 plate WRX and where i can get some lol or dont it really matter what ones?? Thanks

Defi gauges are amongst the best but are more expensive.

I've had two sets of prosport gauges. One set more traditional gauges:

And now prosport evo's which are pretty cool:

The ones in the pod is the ones I am looking at getting but in green and white to replace the ones I've got in at the moment now how hard are they to install ?

Apparently fairly easy, though I have never installed them myself, but I am fairly limited when it comes to things like that. I've never even wired in a car stereo lol.

I just got my local garage to do the first set and the second set were already in the car but I believe BIG EMP did them himself so he may have some input for you.....

I have a set of the Pro Sports to go in mine, not fitted them yet. All power and illumination can come from the centre console wiring as fag lighter is switched live (at least it is on a classic) and stereo will have permanent and illumination feed. You'll need a fitting kit to get at the oil pressure/temperature blanking plug above cylinder 3 unless you go with the sandwich plate between the oil filter and block.

Those pro sport gauges are good as long as they are in a pod like pictured. Mine isn't and i can barely see it if the sun is on the same side of the car. Power can come up from the ciggy lighter as Shane has said. Wiring is relatively easy if you have a little bit of wiring knowledge. You'll get instructions but they'll most likely be generic and you'll only really need power to one, then the others can all be series linked to it.
