One trader to avoid....

AS World - http://asperformancepartsuk.co.uk/ based in Leeds.

Not to be confused with AS Performance, who do a great job! :10:

Take a look at this thread over on scoobynet:
http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-g...-pictures.html

General background.... guy in Sweden pays £4700 for a JDM EJ207 engine and 6spd box/diff etc from a low miles mint car. Trader said engine runs great and can be heard running.
The parts arrive in Sweden and it looks like they are from a tsunami damaged vehicle from Japan. Its obviously never been started in the UK, let alone 'heard running' Worth a read.... I've copied a few photos below. The chap in Sweden got a part refund which he was happy with, as he kept the parts (some could be salvaged).

Salt water corrosion fail. Why do people think they can get away with selling stuff like this.

Anger 10-09-2014 01:59 PM

They said it had run before shipping !

Rusti 10-09-2014 02:11 PM

Unless the ship it came over on sank it looks dubious to me or perhaps a complete mix up and he has been sent the wrong one

I've tried to buy bits for the R from them, customer service was shocking, priced went up/down massively depending on who I spoke too!

scotty 10-09-2014 04:57 PM

Wouldn't use them myself as prices are shockingly high .

EXEVO3 10-09-2014 06:42 PM
