Subaru legacy turbo 2004

Hi All,

i have a subaru legacy turbo 2004 import auto, told it needs a solenoid for the gear box as it slips into 4th gear and stays there, i am thinking best to change the whole box, any advise or anyone with a solution please. type TG5C7CBAAA.
