Goodwood "Hot Hatch" Sunday

Hi!, Good to see Mr and Mrs PPP with baby PPP in tow this morning, Sorry I got distracted by the Corner weighting/Geo guy.. I Managed to grap a few phone snaps.. some of the motors made me feel very nostalgic like I had stepped back in time to a cruise in the late 80's!

;)

Nice turnout. Thanks for posting.

Some proper hot hatches there. I can't resist a hot Pug... I've had various incarnations... 205, 106, 306... shame they aren't really up to muster these days.

I've thought about buying a 205 again. Saw a Miami Blue M16 converted version recently that I had to wrestle myself away from it!

Saw that GTE 16V on Brighton seafront sporting a car bra !!!!

Who was it I waved at in the Silver blob/Titanium coloured Blob?

Hongkongfooi 05-10-2014 08:15 PM

Great to see some pic's, nice one Dave. I used to have a 306 XS and was always eyeing up a Rallye version at the time I owned it, was a great little car. I have always had a soft spot for the Mk1 Focus RS and the Clio V6, maybe a sign of only being 25...

Lovely morning out, nice just to sit and chill out with brekkie and a coffee for a while. Was cold when i left home (frost on car :o ) but soon warmed up.

If it was an '05 STi with gold wheels then i saw it on the way home in the Arundel area too. Looked tidy :)

Was debating about going, but didn't drag myself out of bed early enough!

Great pictures and some cool cars there, but the RS200 is my winner by default: so much want! :10:

ScoobyStu 06-10-2014 06:32 PM

Nice pics and some lovely old skool motors there. If I'd had a bit more time i'd have popped down. Went to Chichester in the afternoon and was hoping to see a few of the cars floating about. Sadly I didnt.

It was me.

Some nice stuff across at Goodwood I was able to trace much of my car history.

I though the RS200 is the car park was a bit low profile given it was probably the rarest car there.

Ginola 16-10-2014 07:46 AM

Indeed, it was, tidy looking blob you have sir!

I'm sure Goodwood would have given it a more prominent position if it was a real one. :)

I thought a kit would have been on a Q plate.

Not sure on the ins-and-outs of transferring the plates, but that particular car is a Kara replica.

It's been mentioned on the RS200 owners forum:

Isn't it something to do with the percentage of the donor car being used allowing you to carry the registration over?
