Re: Ray with the Evo
I remember how impressed you were with it.
Its seems to me that it will be more reliable Iam getting a bit dissolutioned about scoobs . One thing thats forsure you wont have to drive it round "THE RING" the Evo will have it on auto pilot. |
Re: Ray with the Evo
Just do it. com. I like them its just the service intervals that put me off, so frequent! but it did go like ****e of a shovel and you was the only lucky one to get a ride so you know how it handles, follow your instinct.

Re: Ray with the Evo
Nothing wrong with the Scoobs mate. Both make's have there own probs. Ive had mine nearly 4years now with no real issues & it's never been standard. It's been over 300bhp since 2002. I dont exactly take it easy. I hope the Evo will be as kind.

Re: Ray with the Evo
Having watched that car go round the ring, I would have to say it is a good one.
But, I believe for the money you might spend on it, you might get a better return and a sorted car with some "proper" suspension upgrades and a better turbo for your scooby. Mate your scoob feels pretty bloody spot on as it is now, with a few secret squirrel upgrades mate, you are looking at a car that would give Rays Evo (in it's curent form) a really good whooping. At the end of the day, there isn't a bad decision to be had here. You can either buy a sorted Evo or sort your scoob to whoop it? I reckon it's 6 and half a dozen mate. It depends on which one floats your boat the most really pal. Good luck fella  Oh............................ and P.S................. if you get the Evo, close the door on the way out! Only kidding of course. Be good to have another marque on the trip down next year 8-) |
Re: Ray with the Evo
The Evo is 340bhp there are plenty of Scoobs out there that would whoop it inclueding my own. Im getting a good price for my Scoob as the guy who's buying it know's exactly what ive done. Im looking at the age of the Scoob 2002 V 2005. I wont need to do anything suspention wise as the MR has Billstien std. Brake's, discs & pads all ready to go. It will need more power though that really isnt enough :fool: Anyway if i dont get on with it then im off to Subaru for a Hawkeye & start again. :acid:
