engine cutting under boost
 

Got a bit of an intermittent issue with my 06 STI, under hard acceleration the engine sometimes suddenly cuts out for a second before pulling hard again. Its a bit disconcerting! It doesn't happen all the time and mostly in 4th-5th & 6th. the spec of the car is as follows:

06 2.5 STI
Forged Pistons + uprated headgaskets
full decat exhaust system
turbosmart dual port BOV
wabro fuel pump
K+N Typhoon Induction Kit
Remapped by jolly green monster to 355bhp+405ftlbs

any thoughts?

What boost was it running on the rollers and what does it run or spike to in the troublesome gears.

got it sorted out yesterday thanks to Duncan from racedynamics. It was over boosting and cutting the fuel. He also sorted it's rich running and activated flat foot shifting and launch control for a bit of fun. Anyways much more confidence in it now! can highly recommend Duncan too. :doubleup:

Grrrrr now ive developed a bad misfire on #4 cylinder... hopefully its just a plug or coilpack.
