New turbo fitted and ????
 

Just put a new rebuilt oem td04 with new oem gaskets and silicone intake pipe as mine was split,on a stock bug wrx PPP with just a mapp,
Now run in gentle for 50 miles, all seems fine no strange issues etc, opened it up this morn and the car felt sluggish and not hard hitting as was, no boost leaks and rechecked everything 2/3 times, any surgestions?

Actuator poss?

could be if its the old one, or adjusted wrong, or there is a leak somewhere that you have missed?

Have you retained the small pipes to the actuator.
The restrictor or pill in there is matched to the ppp.

did you check or adjust the preload on the actuator arm before fitment??

actuator was already on as exchanged unit, and i checked that it half covers the pin
All pipes same, Deffo sure it's not leaking, done these swaps few times now and this is a 1st,
Old turbo was boosting fine but was told had a rattle (which still there but that's another issue)

Do you know what boost it's hitting.
Is it a standard TD04 or a hybrid ?

Fitted my actuator as known sre fine,
Not sure on boost as no gauge being stock car so going to need borrow one from somewhere for quick mo, and stick td04
Exact same as what I had , mine had a leaking up pipe gasket and had more punch lol it feels prob like a stock wrx not a mapped ppp car

Hands up my fault.
All my older classic wrx cars the boost pill is in the bottom of the 3port,
My sti I had pro-drive 3 port fitted
The wrx newage has a 2port and the pill is on the hose to turbo snail the only bit I changed as my hose split when I removed, so the 2inch length I threw yes threw as thought the pill was near the 2port well isn't ,
So plus side I know the fault bad side need a PPP pill now lol

Might be worth sending oldskool a pm mate he had 2 old td04s off me im sure atleast one had the hose with the pill in that u need

I got new, old and modified ones if you need one.
