New cambelt - best place to go
 

Hi, I have recently purchased my car (Impreza WRX 2006) and from what I can see, the cambelt has not been changed so I would really like to sort this.

I live next to Gatwick Airport and wondered if anyone knows a decent mechanic that can help me with this please?

I phoned Gatwick Subaru for a quote and was told £630 - cambelt, tensioners and oil change. Is that price about right or too much?

Done two of my cars and was a hell of a lot cheaper than what you been quoted

cambelt kit is most of the expense.....its about 3 hours to do as I remember?

Couple of hrs at most

high quality cambelts kits are not expensive IMO

Definitely talk to East Sussex Mobile Services. Will be by far your best value for money- get parts from Alyn @ AS and then have Stuart at ESMS do your work.
