Another Bug in Horsham!!!!

Hi everyone,

Just picked up a beautiful black bug with 70k on it.
I am in Southwater Horsham area looking forward to seeing some of you out and about.
I see there is another newbie from Horsham here too.

nice looking motor you have there :ok:

Welcome to SES

Looks a tidy bug you have there. Its had the widetrack rear arches fitted at some point, although not sure why. Its usually done when fitting a newer (blobeye) rear bumper off a widetrack and the later rear headlamps. Hopefully not just added to hide rust blisters (scoobs are notorious for rusting around the rear wheel arch).

Couldnt find anything wrong with this one thankfully! 2 previous owners and last one was 51yrs old so looked after it well. FSH, clutch and belts done 2k miles ago, well happy with it.
Want to fit a boost gauge and look and what more i can do bhp wise while not pushing it too much. Its currently running approx 270-280bhp but that wasnt done on a RR so thats on the list.
All i need to figure out is how to add an avatar here. Its greyed out when i click on edit avatar???

Rdlangy1 28-05-2015 02:06 PM

think you need some more posts first :ok:

Steve_PPP 28-05-2015 02:19 PM

If its running 270-280bhp then I'm guessing its at least got a sportscat (or decat) and a remap? (as they're about 220bhp standard, 250bhp if fitted with PPP).

Power-wise, you're pretty much at the limit of the TD04 so to push over 300 you'll need to change the turbo. Usual route on a WRX is VF35 with STI pink injectors, decat and further remap to see you about 320-330bhp. :)

Rdlangy1 28-05-2015 02:20 PM

leave it bout 4-5 months and ill have a set of STi pink's and VF35 up for sale :ok: ha ha

Thought I recognised the number plate for a minute then realised Simons old Bug Wagon also had PX prefix originally.

Welcome along.
