Bottom end failure
 
Just had bottom end start knocking on my uk300, going to get a rebuild, API seem good with some good reviews, anyone else's just them

What do you want from the new engine and what do you want to spend? If you're looking for just a standard-ish motor then it'll be much cheaper to just try and find an STI bottom end from a breaker and drop that in rather than doing a build.

I've never used API but from what i've heard personally there are better options available...

After taking a friend up to drop his car of at API and then taking him back Id personally steer clear of them.
