Exhaust swap question

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of changing the exhaust thats currently on my STI. Its a little too quiet for my liking and I'm not a fan of the oval shape either.

I currently have a ninja on my WRX an really like the sound as it's not ridiculously loud but gives a nice deep rumble. It's also more aesthetically pleasing for my taste.

I'm thinking of swapping the two over but was wondering if this would be more complicated than that... i.e. would I need to get it re-mapped after etc.?

Should be simple and no need to remap.

It's only if you start messing with the cats that you should look to have the map adjusted as far as I'm aware.

It should be fine, the difference it will make is negligible, although it does make one. What is the current backbox? Assuming it isn't standard (swapping from standard to free flow/straight through might be worth tweking as again flow will be improved so it could use a little extra fuel)

I personally swap backbox's regularly without issue
