The mechanic would replace many irrelevant parts and charge a fortune for basically miss diagnosing.

The electrical engineer would just charge a fortune, because he think he's the only proper engineer.

The IT engineer would have to listen to the car driver continuously moan about how it once worked, then he put diesel in it, ran rubbish for a while, but ignored it because he thought it would fix itself, and now just before he has to take his wife to the hospital because she is having a baby, he thought he'd get the IT engineer out of bed at 4am to get it fixed or give him another car!

Well Si, sounds like you have got that off your chest! I think you are on to something though, how many personal experiences are expressed here...?

Ginola 13-03-2016 07:04 PM

Si's discription is pretty accurate ;)

555_Si 13-03-2016 07:04 PM

My view is slightly biased seeing as I am an IT bod, but I did actually train as a motor vehicle engineer and I don't tar all mechanics with the same brush.

Saying that I also did BTEC OND in electrical and electronic engineering as well.

Just showing off now Si 😉
