Agreed! You get to look at cars and light aircraft at this meet. I have only been to the Aerodrome once as a youngster but my old man has flown in and out a few times in his younger days.

Frenchie 27-06-2016 07:10 PM

Bit far for me to, pity as I have good memories of Headcorn as made quite a few parachute jumps from there in my youth.

Rdlangy1 03-07-2016 12:31 PM

Good to see everyone this morning and thanks to Scott for organising.. Museum was a good little walk around and weather was ok until the last minute :ok:

NL03Scooby 03-07-2016 01:33 PM

Nice little meet today, liked the location and the museum was a nice touch with some interesting items and stories.

Good to see everyone and thank you for organising Scott, even if there were a little surprised by our presence, they accommodated well.

munk 03-07-2016 04:30 PM

Nice little turnout today shame the car got wet.:P1::tissue:
Nice to see some new faces aswell.

Scott.T 03-07-2016 06:00 PM

Cheers guys.
I think they accommodated us well considering the number of people there wanting to jump out of a plane.
A very busy venue for the brave.

Rdlangy1 03-07-2016 06:17 PM

No club para jump then Pmsl!

Perhaps we should do a club "go-ape" at Leeds castle - meant to be worth a laugh! Ha ha if u don't mind heights!

https://goape.co.uk/what-is-goape

Red Baron 03-07-2016 07:22 PM

I'm up for Go Ape, there's one at Bedgbury Pinetum as well.

Rdlangy1 03-07-2016 08:25 PM

Laura did it for a hen do few weeks ago - takes around 2.5-3hrs and is meant to be good fun :ok:

555_Si 03-07-2016 08:42 PM

I'd be happy to do a club jump, loved it last time.

Steve_PPP 03-07-2016 10:12 PM

I'm up for Go-Ape too. Jumping out of a plane.... hmm maybe less so :D

Ginola 03-07-2016 10:25 PM

pass on both! :P did Go-Ape a few years back for a stag do, needless to say my tree climbing days are behind me.

Sorry we couldn't make it today.

scotty 04-07-2016 01:10 AM

Mmmmmm seems we have a few tree huggers amongst us :fool::-)

munk 04-07-2016 07:07 AM

id be in for go ape....:-D

Rdlangy1 04-07-2016 07:27 AM

If people are interested - I am more than happy to speak with Go-Ape Leeds Castle and organise a club day - also get some good club pics in the castle grounds.

Ill start up a new thread...
