Today tomorrow - that's me done !!

Bring on the mince pies and sprouts!!

Rdlangy1 15-12-2016 12:22 PM

till next Fri :-( then on call if needed

C. J. 15-12-2016 02:04 PM

Intended finishing Wednesday but that's now not happening till Friday or Christmas Eve.
Then off till the 3rd of Jan unless the phone rings for boiler break downs and anything else that people can't wait till the new year for :D

Mortster 15-12-2016 02:12 PM

Weds lunchtime, unless we get a idiot customer. 2 years ago we took the whole of Jan off....got bored after 3 weeks and went back to work.

SpecB 15-12-2016 02:47 PM

One lesson to teach tomorrow then I'm done (officially finish at 1230)

Finish at 3pm next Thursday for the work Xmas party then return Jan 3rd.

(Those who work for Southern Rail seemed to have broken up for Xmas already...)

Matt23 15-12-2016 05:57 PM

Finish next Friday at 4pm for the 4 day long weekend and then all back to normal for me

Steve_PPP 15-12-2016 06:43 PM

Finish at lunch time next Friday and hopefully off until 3rd Jan. But got a load of out-of-hours maintenance work to do so might end up doing a weekend somewhere in there.

Also on call over New Year :(

Red Baron 15-12-2016 07:03 PM

4pm next Thursday until the 3rd Jan. I've booked Friday 23rd as Holiday, not spending 3 hours driving to and from Crawley just to sit around eating Mince Pies and chocolate for 4 hours.

Banstead Stig 15-12-2016 08:51 PM

My last day is Tuesday.

Got quite a lot to do still though! I was in at 7am today and only just got home. I did get a break earlier this evening whilst someone updated something I'd reviewed.

Bolesroor 15-12-2016 08:58 PM

Only Xmas eve and Christmas day for me :sadnod:

Jason7579 16-12-2016 09:25 AM

I'm sitting at home now on my first day off until I return on the 3rd January :)

My annual leave finishes on the last day of December and I had to use up what I had left.

Frenchie 17-12-2016 07:47 AM

When we moved to France I took early retirement so no problems for me. Mind I don't know how I ever had time for work.

Scooby Si 17-12-2016 08:39 AM

I'm done 'til the 3rd now! ;)

Last day yesterday mainly involved running Nerf battles around the office!

I'm surprised you haven't set up camp in the office to save struggling with the lack of trains.

Moley_WRX 17-12-2016 04:27 PM

Don't finish until 5.30 next Friday, then have to go in the following Wednesday and Friday.

scotty 17-12-2016 09:36 PM

Finish 8pm christmas eve then back to work on the 27th .

I gave up on the trains back in March!

Been driving since then!... £32 a week in diesel, instead of £94 on the train! Can't fault my little go-kart, great fun and even has paddle shift!
